- Homesickness
昔人已乘黄鹤去The man of old has ridden the yellow crane away;
此地空余黄鹤楼here there is nothing left but Yellow Crane Tower.
黄鹤一去不复返The yellow crane, once gone, never returns;
白云千载空悠悠a thousand years of white clouds drift, empty.
晴川历历汉阳树On the clear river the Hanyang trees stand sharp and distinct;
芳草萋萋鹦鹉洲the fragrant grass grows rank on Parrot Island.
日暮乡关何处是At dusk, where is my home?
烟波江上使人愁The misty water on the river makes a man grieve.
