东风无力百花残The east wind is spent, and all the flowers fall.
春蚕到死丝方尽A spring silkworm spins its silk until it dies;
蜡炬成灰泪始干a candle's tears dry only when it is ash.
晓镜但愁云鬓改At dawn she fears the mirror: her hair has changed.
夜吟应觉月光寒At night, reciting, she must feel the moonlight cold.
蓬山此去无多路From here to Penglai is no great distance —
青鸟殷勤为探看let the blue bird go, diligently, and look for me.
